Because I regularly receive similar questions by email, and the FAQ helps reduce the need to reply individually. Also, I’m open to hearing about interesting requests.

定点または連続での動画撮影を行わない事(写真撮影は可能です)。
黒板のサイズと希望時間によって創作内容は変化します。

I may be able to accept the request under the following conditions
The event theme must be of personal interest to me.
A chalkboard must be provided at your facility.
I will erase the artwork myself after the event.
A base fee of ￥100000 plus ￥10000 per hour and travel expenses must be covered.
I do not give greetings or lectures.
No fixed-point or continuous video recording is allowed (still photography is permitted).
The content of the work will vary depending on the chalkboard size and requested duration.

納期は正式なご依頼から最大半年必要です。
現地にビルトインの黒板の場合は交通費または送迎が必要です。
ビルトイン黒板の場合はコーティングはできません。
私のアトリエで製作した場合希望によりコーティングの有無を選べます。

Possibly, under the following conditions:
Completion may take up to six months from the time of confirmed commission.
If a built-in chalkboard at your location is used, travel expenses or transport must be covered. Built-in chalkboards cannot be coated.
If produced in my studio, coating options are available upon request.

(一般的)コーティング無しの場合どうなりますか？ / (General) What happens if the work is not coated?

HakanaGeの特徴であるチョークのパウダーによる濃淡の再現は広いレンジで表現が可能です。湿度の低い場所での展示が理想です。時間と共にパウダーは欠落し薄れたり濃淡のレンジが狭くなり劣化します。触ったり当たったりすると掠れたり消えたりします。展示された空間での調理や喫煙は黒板に付着し状態が劣化します。
The signature chalk powder gradients of HakanaGe can be fully expressed. Best displayed in low-humidity environments. Over time, powder may fade or lose detail and contrast. The artwork is sensitive to touch and contact. Cooking or smoking in the display area may cause deterioration.

What happens when coating is applied? / コーティング有りの場合どうなりますか？

Accepted Answer

The distinctive shading expression of HakanaGe using chalk powder becomes limited when coating is applied, making gradients and similar expressions more restricted.
HakanaGeの特徴であるチョークのパウダーによる濃淡の再現は狭いレンジとなりグラディーションなどの表現は限定的になります。
The display location can be handled with some flexibility.
展示場所はある程度柔軟に対応できます。
If color is used, it may deteriorate under ultraviolet light, but it generally lasts long.
色を使った場合紫外線で劣化しますが基本的に長持ちです。
It is resistant to touch or contact.
触ったり当たったりしても消えにくいです。
However, even with coating, cooking or smoking in the display space can cause deposits on the board and degrade its condition.
コーティングされていても展示された空間での調理や喫煙は黒板に付着し状態が劣化します。

Yes, it is possible to create a rough draft based on your request.
ご希望によるラフ案の作成は可能です。
The rough draft can be viewed digitally.
ラフ案はデジタル状態で閲覧いただけます。
The original draft cannot be handed over, copied, duplicated, or photographed.
ラフ案原本の引き渡しやコピー・複製・撮影はできません。
Creating a rough draft may require an extension of the standard delivery schedule.
ラフ案の作成には基本納期の延長が必要な場合があります。
The creation of the rough draft is free of charge.
ラフ案の作成は無償です。

Question 19

Can I request a repair of HakanaGe without coating? / コーティング無しのHakanaGeのリペアを依頼できますか？

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is possible.
可能です。
However, if the condition has deteriorated due to cooking or smoking in the display space, repair may be impossible.
ただし展示された空間での調理や喫煙で状態が劣化した場合はリペアは不可能となります。
The repair cost depends on the condition.
リペア費用は状態によります。
For simple repairs, it may be possible to handle them free of charge if brought to the atelier.
簡単なリペアの場合はアトリエ持ち込みで無償で可能の場合があります。
For larger-scale repairs, there will be a fee.
ある程度の規模の場合は有償となります。
Whether the repair is free or paid will be judged after inspecting the actual condition, and you can decide at that point whether to proceed.
有償無償の判断はリペア前に現実を拝見して判定させていただきますのでリペアするかどうかはその時点でご判断ください。
